The City of Duluth welcomes the Northwood's
League to the area with the introduction of the Huskies.
This is the inaugural season for the franchise which
will feature baseball stars of tomorrow. The league
consists of ten teams located in MN, WI and IA. Each
team is made up of college players trying to further
develop their skills and have the opportunity of
showcasing their talent for major league scouts.
Baseball has been a Duluth staple since 1903. Wade
Stadium has been a longtime landmark for many future
major leaguers and Hall of Fame inductees. Northwoods
baseball is entertainment focused for family fun at an
affordable price. Tickets are offered on a game day
basis, season tickets and group outing plans are
available. The Huskies will play a 64 game schedule,
with 32 home games between early June and the end of
August.
