Huskies Baseball Club

The City of Duluth welcomes the
Northwoods League to the area with the introduction of
the Huskies. This is the inaugural season for the
franchise which will feature baseball stars of tomorrow.
The league consists of ten teams located in MN, WI and
IA. Each team is made up of college players trying to
further develop their skills and have the opportunity of
showcasing their talent for major league scouts.
Baseball has been a Duluth staple since 1903. Wade
Stadium has been a longtime landmark for many future
major leaguers and Hall of Fame inductees. Northwoods
baseball is entertainment focused for family fun at an
affordable price. Tickets are offered on a game day
basis, season tickets and group outing plans are
available. The Huskies will play a 64 game schedule,
with 32 home games between early June and the end of
August.

Great
Lakes Aquarium
Duluth, MN
Dive in to America's only all-freshwater
aquarium! Discover what's in and under Lake Superior
without having your feet cramp up! Some 70 species of
fish are exhibited from the Great Lakes and other
freshwater lakes and rivers of the world. (Don't miss
the giant lake sturgeon in the 85,000 gallon Isle Royale
tank.) Birds, amphibians, reptiles and river otters are
also in the five major habitat displays and 19 satellite
tanks. Great Lakes Aquarium is much more than an
aquarium-there's art, history, culture and commerce, all
as they relate to freshwater and 30 interactives.

Superior Zoo

Explore the Lake Superior Zoo with
sixteen acres of naturalistic exhibits, majestic pines
and Kingsbury creek. Some of our featured animals
include polar bears, kangaroos, Siberian tigers, colobus
monkeys and a lot more! See hundreds of fascinating
animals including exotic and native species. While out
exploring the zoo grounds pay close attention to the
endangered and threatened animals including snow
leopards, black-footed ferrets, peregrine falcons and
bald eagles. The Lake Superior Zoo strives to be
recognized as a quality attraction and resource for
people of all ages and a source of pride for the entire
region. The Tiger's Paw Gift Shop is open daily year
round and the Safari Cafe is open daily during the
